My initial response was just in regards to skyrim, I think they left out the option to marry Serana because it would be kind of unfair to those who chose to marry someone else without knowing there would be other options down the road, especially with a pivotal character So I just finished the dawnguard dlc (i do have lots of mods, only one of which for serana that affects her appearance and nothing else) and decided to have serana cure herself. Just killed Harkon, and through dialogue options, convinced Serana to get cured of her vampirism. Only real reason I did this was because I heard that you can't marry vampires in-game, and thought I'd be able to marry her if she's cured How long does it take serana to cure her vampirism? You can cure her vampirism if you are caring with your dialog while questing with her but she'll tell you she has a fear of temples if you wear the amulet of mara while talking with her. #8.
